Visa Requirements
General requirements
- A valid passport
- A duly completed visa application form
- A passport-sized colored photograph
- Proof of payment of corresponding visa fee
- The date and the place of visa delivery as well as the number of visits (once or several times) must be pointed out;
- All data should be presented in Latin letters;
Visas are issued at the discretion of the consular officer and additional documents may be requested to determine if you have a legitimate purpose and sufficient financial means to visit Armenia (e.g. invitation letter, hotel booking, tax returns, bank account statements etc.).

Students requirements forVisa Process To Armenia
- Students must have a tourist visa
- Students holding this visa can apply to the higher education institutions of choice in Armenia
- Once admission is granted into the institution, the particular institution will apply to the consular section of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) for entry permission for you
- After getting the entry permission from the MFA, students must apply for a visa in the Armenian embassy nearest to them
- The Embassy issues a single entry visa for which the student has to pay the charges in the embassy itself
- Once a student is in Armenia, he/she gets a resident card, free of costs
- Cover letter: It should include the purpose and duration of stay in Armenia
- Admission letter from the Armenian educational institution
- Tuition fee receipt
- Educational credentials: Certificates, degrees and mark sheets; secondary education graduation certificate or university certificates.
- English language proficiency proof: TOEFL / IELTS score certificates
- Accommodation proof: Can be rent agreement or letter from institution (if taking university accommodation)

Armenia Embassy in Nigeria
Armenia does not have an embassy in Nigeria, but those who wish to apply for a visa to Armenia can visit the Honorary Consulate of Armenia in Cote d’Ivoire, or The Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Egypt.

Visa collection
Visas on arrival (at the airport/border) are issued immediately.
E-visas are issued within 3-4 business days.
Regular visas are issued by embassies within 10 days, except when an invitation letter has already been approved by the Foreign Affairs Ministry, in which case the visa is normally issued on the day of application.

Current Covid-19 Travel Restrictions in Armenia
- Amendments to Government Decree 1514-N which entered into force on January 12, 2021.
- Restrictions on the entry to the territory of the Republic of Armenia for persons arriving from foreign countries have been canceled.
- All arriving persons (RA citizens and citizens of foreign countries) are now permitted to enter the territory both via air and land borders.
- In order to detect symptoms of infection all passengers are subject to an examination conducted by the Health and Labor Inspectorate.
- If corresponding symptoms are detected as a result of examination the person will be hospitalized.
