Current COVID-19 Travel Restriction in Burundi
To travel to Burundi during COVID-19, a traveler is required will do the followings
- Get tested with a viral test 1–3 days before making the trip.
- If exposed to COVID-19, sick, or tested positive for COVID-19 such individual cannot travel
- When traveling, the traveler is expected to wear a mask, avoid crowds, stay at least 6 feet from people who are not traveling with him/her,
- Must wash hands often or use hand sanitizer, and watch for symptoms.
- After travel must get tested 3–5 days after travel
- Stay at home to self-quarantine for 7 days after travel.
- If not tested, the traveler is expected to stay home to self-quarantine for 10 days
