Visa Process To Angola from Nigerian Types are;

Short Term Visa

The short rem visa can be said to also be an ordinary visa

  • Transit Visa: Transit without visa is allowed for passengers continuing their trip to a third country by the same or first departing plane if they do not leave the airport
  • Tourist Visa: A tourist visa must be used within 60 days from the issue date and is valid for 30 days, a period that can be extended once for an additional period of 30 days.  

Long Term Visa

  • Student Visa: Prospective students who are enrolled, or wish to enroll in Angola’s education system will need to apply for a student visa that will allow them a stay of 1 year, with multiple entries.
  • Work Visa: Foreign employees need a work or residence permit visa to work in Angola. It is usually valid for 12 months and allows multiple entries into the country

Visa Requirements

General requirements

  • Visa Application duly completed in print or typed 
  • -Letter or request from the visa applicant, addressed to the Consular and Diplomatic Mission of Angola (this letter must be notarized)
  • International certificate of vaccination
  • Evidence of means of subsistence and accommodations
  • One recent color passport-sized photo.
  • Original and photocopy of passport : the biodata page
  • Photocopy of ticket to the Republic of Angola, with a return.
  • Copy of the hotel reservation with the official stamp from the hotel
  • Passports must have a validity of 9 months and 2 blank pages.

Extra documents might be requested to support the visa application.

Tourist visa requirements

  • Fully completed tourist visa application form
  • 2 passport photographs
  • Valid national passport and photocopy of biodata page
  • Latest bank statement and photocopy
  • Evidence of travel insurance
  • Reference letter from employer or educational establishment
  • Proof of group travel if it’s a group travel
  • Proof of accommodation reservation
  • Proof of ticket reservation

Additional requirements for Business visa

  • Letter of invitation from the angolan company and letter from your company

Student visa requirements

  • Completed application form, including applicable fees
  • Letter to consulate outlining reasons for application
  • Passport with at least one year validity, and two blank pages
  • 3 recent passport photos, name on reverse
  • Photocopy of passport pages containing migration stamps/information
  • Vaccination history issued by accredited medical authority (must include yellow fever)
  • Criminal record, and a Portuguese translation
  • Medical certificate of good health, issued by accredited doctor
  • Declaration of commitment to obey Angolan laws (in Portuguese)
  • Proof of financial self-sufficiency, and of accommodation
  • Confirmation of enrollment in school, university program or internship

Current COVID-19 Travel Restriction in Angola

All travelers will be accepted for travel to Angola provided they meet entry requirements

  1. COVID-19 test on arrival including children and infants. This test is compulsory and will be provided free of charge by Angolan Health Authorities.
  2. It is mandatory for traveler to present a molecular based RT-PCR COVID-19 test with a negative result.
  3.  Testing must be carried out in the 72 hours prior to departure.
  4. Travelers with a negative test results may proceed to a mandatory 10-day home quarantine, after which they must take the test again.
  5. Any traveler who tests positive for COVID-19 will immediately be isolated in institutional quarantine at an appointed facility designated by Angolan health authorities.
