Additional requirements for business travelers

1. Letter of invitation from your business partner in Algeria which should be on the official letter headed paper of the company stating the duration and purpose of visit
2. Original letter of introduction from your company indicating your designation at the company, purpose of your visit, business contact, duration of your visit and  financial responsibility while on visit.

Additional requirements for visiting visa

1. Letter of invitation from your host in Algeria certified by a local city hall
2. Photocopy of your host’s international passport or residence card or national ID card

Additional documents may be required of you based on individual cases.

Requirements For Tourist Visa

1. Original passport with at least six months validity
2. A completed and duly signed Algerian visa application form 
3. Two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background
4. Evidence or photocopy of flight booking indicating the airline, date of arrival, and departure(do not purchase a ticket without visa approval)
5. Evidence of hotel accommodation. You may be required to show original copies at the embassy
6. Evidence of sufficient financial means to cover your stay in Algeria
7. Police clearance certificate
8. Travel insurance
9. Medical insurance

How Long Does It Take to Get an Algerian Visa?

The visa processing time is 10 days but still advisable to apply ahead (3 months)

A Representative is not allowed to collect a passport on behalf of Applicant. During the passport collection at the Visa Application center it is required to provide the following:

• Original payment receipt that was provided during document submission.
• Original proof of identity .
• For minors: birth certificate
