This year was a rough one! I almost gave up on so many things in my life. I thought about packing my bags and moving back to Atlanta or New York, I looked up companies hiring within my skill set, then I took a mental chill pill and kept pushing my Lagos hustle. I thought 2015, was rough. Ha! 2016 made last year seem like a cake walk.
I do not know what 2017 will bring with the insane amount of uncertainty in Nigeria and the constant downfall of the local economy…all I know is that no matter what comes our way, we will keep on pushing. I am also very glad that I pushed my plans for travel within Nigeria to 2016+, because I spent the past years visiting so many other countries when the local currency was not as terrible, so yay to some positivity! Fingers crossed on a positively exciting 2017, 2016 was a rough one, but I think I made the best of it. Watch my video and let me know if you agree with me ;).
