How to get Kenyan transit visa
Traveling through kenya to your final destination? You will need a transit visa to leave the airport but if you are not leaving, then a transit visa is not required.
Requirements
- You will need a valid passport in order to obtain a Kenya transit visa as well as a recent, easy-to-view passport photo.
- All Nigerian travelers will also need to show an onward ticket showing that you will not be staying in Kenya but merely passing through
- It is valid for 3 days (72 hours) only

- Fill the application form & pay
- Approval or disapproval will be sent to your email
- Download your evisa to be presented at the port of entry
You can also apply for a transit visa at the airport for $20 but better to do it online to skip the queue at the airport.
Processing time and costs
All evisa applications attract a 1 USD service charge and card handling fee will be surcharged
The visa takes two business days to process but best to apply 7 days before travel date
