Starting from the 1st of February, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration Shirley Ayorkor Botchway announced that there will be an increase in the number of passport pages from 32-48 to enable frequent travellers reduce renewal time.
It was also made known that the Ghanaian government us set to phase out manual forms and introduce the online application passport process while also embracing technology on their passports by introducing chip-embedded passports.
These changes won’t come without an effect on the passport costs.
As at today, below is the newly approved cost of Ghanaian passports
