Here’s something I can say with great confidence about moi, I love goooooooooood food. Well, who doesn’t?
Fukuoka really fed my hungry soul. It really is a good thing that I had only one night there or I would have left the city looking like Yokozuna. (Olorun maje o, Amin!)
My body could consume only so much food, and trying out the famous Hakata Ramen was on my agenda for the day.
I saw a post online about Taizo serving the best ramen in town, so of course I had to go there, duh.
Verdict: Sir, can I please have a truck load more?
Generally, Japanese food is mildly spiced, which can get a bit boring for someone like me; I love my food peppery spicy. RamenTaizo, understood my taste bud so well that they deserve a standing ovation. I tried out other dishes in the Yatai area, but RamenTaizo stood out for me. The ramen came with an ‘efo’ like dish that seriously blew my mind, it tasted like proper mama-put efo.
Enough about the chops, check out the pictures!
